摘要:互聯(lián)網(wǎng)作為1種新興媒體為英語(yǔ)教學(xué)展示了1個(gè)新的空間.本文從分析因特網(wǎng)和英語(yǔ)教學(xué)出發(fā),探討了將兩者結(jié)合的原因和可行性,并論述了因特網(wǎng)應(yīng)用在英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中的主要方式和具體操作.也提出了存在的問(wèn)題和1些應(yīng)對(duì)措施.毫無(wú)疑問(wèn),因特網(wǎng)的迅速發(fā)展和廣泛應(yīng)用給英語(yǔ)教育帶來(lái)了新的挑戰(zhàn)和機(jī)遇.

The Attempt and Problems of Using Internet in English Teaching Middle School
Abstract: Internet has shown a new space for English teaching as a kind of new developing media. This essay begins with the analysis of Internet and English teaching, discusses the reasons and feasibility of combining the two, also this paper puts forward the main ways and specific practices of how to use Internet in English teaching, presents existent issues and some recommendations. Undoubtedly, the rapid development and wide application of Internet offers both great challenges and opportunities for English education.

Introduction
As the new century coming, English Language Teaching of our country is facing a new reform. In 1997, At the 21st Century National English seminar of university, experts and scholars who are internal and external, generally believe that – colleges and universities’ English of our country will initiate a revolution on the teaching means in the near future. With the rapid development of the computer and information technology, the distance teaching of network, Multi-Media courseware etc. will become the new teaching means.[1]
Though our country formally inserts Internet late, it has developed extremely fast in recent years. Internet has already covered every colleges and universities basically. Many teachers and graduate students are provided with the condition of net surfing. English teachers can utilize the Internet to communicate with their peers, understand the tendency of the teaching development of International English, share new teaching resources and researching results, at the same time, lead students to participate in International exchange through Internet, and promote gains of language learning.
