1.名詞(包括代詞)：單復數問題。
判斷方法：對比主語跟賓語。主語跟賓語的單復數形式必須相同。也可能會根據謂語或者定語進行判斷。下面是例題。
No matter when they came from or what their previous lifestyle is, the refugees were grateful for having been granted political asylum in the United States. No error.
請看what their previous lifestyle is這段話， their跟lifestyle的單復數不同，當然還有后面的is也一起錯了。應該改成lifestyles are.
2.動詞：主謂一致的單復數問題，時態錯誤，過去式的單詞錯誤。時態錯誤主要發生在主句和從句的時態不一致。詞匯錯誤就是有些不規則動詞的過去式用錯，比如常見的hang、rise等等，當然也有drove寫成drived的。
判斷方法：看到動詞，本能的反應是單復數、時態問題，如果都沒有就考慮詞匯用錯問題。
注意：CB那班賤人很喜歡使用倒裝來迷惑眾生。
Air pollution caused by the industrial fumes has been studied for years, but only recently has the harmful effects of noise pollution become known. No error.
這里面only recently has the harmful effects of noise pollution become known使用了倒裝。The harmful effects是主語，has是謂語，所以現在答案很明顯了吧。
語法補習：
Neither…or…; Either… or…后面的謂語跟第二個主語保持一致。
…along with…; …as well as…; …in addition to…與第一個主語保持一致。
Both…and…就不說了，用復數形態。
3.固定搭配。動詞與介詞，比如look at。連詞搭配，比如either…or…
判斷方法：看到有介詞劃線就注意一下。這種題目平時積累很重要!
背固定搭配的時候一定要注意介詞與不定式的區分問題!比如look forward to，to是介詞，后面的動詞要使用動名詞形式。
4.代詞。主格與賓格。指代不明。文中出現的'多個代詞不一致。
判斷方法：代詞是用來指代的�？吹酱~馬上回頭尋找其指代對象。
To become a world figure-skating champion like Kristi Yamaguchi, one must be so dedicated that you will practice six hours a day. No error.
這句話的問題在于代詞使用不一致。請看one must be so dedicated that you will practice six hours a day，前面用的代詞是one，但是后文使用的是you，再理解句意，不難發現兩個代詞其實是在指代同一個人。所以應該把you改成one.
5.平行并列結構。兩個以上的分句并列時，一般美國人愛用并列結構，這樣的好處是使文章看起來工整。
判斷方法：出現多個并列成分;出現比如from…to…等類似的經典介詞組合。注意：并列結構使SAT很喜歡考察的內容!
Each time Caroline turns on her computer, she has to enter a company code, then her initials, and then enters a password before she can begin working. No error.
讀句子，發現這個女人工作之前要干3件事：enter a company code, enters her initials, enters a password，這3個動作構成了并列。題干已經有提示：she has to enter a company code, then (enters)her initials, 所以剩下來的enters毫無疑問也應該省略即改成and then(enters)a password before she can begin working.
A talented and versatile artist, Twyla Tharp has been a dancer, choreographer, and collaborated on various productions. No error.
還是并列結構，改成has been a dancer, choreographer, and collaborator.這樣的句子就很整潔了。寫作的時候可以用上的。
6.形容詞與副詞混淆。判斷：看到以后注意就行了。
Although the new device was the most clever designed bird feeder that Ms. Rodriguez had ever owned, it could not keep squirrels from stealing the birdseed. No error.
用Word一看就知道哪里有錯了……clever designed里頭，designed是動詞，clever是修飾designed的。但是修飾動詞的只有副詞，所以毫無疑問要將clever改成cleverly.
7.邏輯。雙重否定。
8.同級比較。比如My pen in more beautiful than you. Pen跟you并不是同一類事物。
