What to include on your CV?淺議簡(jiǎn)歷的內(nèi)容
Your CV should not go beyond two pages, so deciding what to include and what to leave off is very important. Everything you include should be relevant to the needs of your employer and be designed to enhance your application.簡(jiǎn)歷最好控制在2頁(yè)之內(nèi)，所以簡(jiǎn)歷內(nèi)容的篩選變得異常重要。任何被保留下來(lái)的信息必須與雇主的需求和你的簡(jiǎn)歷申請(qǐng)有所關(guān)聯(lián)。
It is vital to fully understand what the company is looking for; parts of your background will be more relevant to what the company requires than others. You can adapt your CV for the specific job requirement; try to match what you offer with the company’s needs.很有必要清楚公司的切實(shí)需要。你的背景信息要比別人更加貼近公司的需求。你可以根據(jù)個(gè)別的職位需求適當(dāng)?shù)卣{(diào)整自己的簡(jiǎn)歷內(nèi)容，盡量讓你的簡(jiǎn)歷和公司需求相一致。
Do your research on the company, read the job advertisement carefully and then highlight how your CV ties in with their job requirements.對(duì)公司進(jìn)行調(diào)查，認(rèn)真看工作招聘廣告，然后標(biāo)出你的簡(jiǎn)歷和工作需求的一致點(diǎn)。
Include relevant examples of your achievements that make you an especially well qualified candidate. Show why your skills are transferrable; tell the employer what you can do with your talent in the position you’re applying for. Bullet-point your list of skills and include a brief note alongside each skill. The employer can scan the list and you can talk in greater depth about them at your interview.證明你擁有相關(guān)成就可以舉例你擁有某一證書(shū)。證明你的技能具有可轉(zhuǎn)移性；告知雇主你可以運(yùn)用才智勝任應(yīng)聘職位。重點(diǎn)標(biāo)出你的技能并在每條技能后作簡(jiǎn)短的介紹。雇主可以很快的瀏覽列表，并且你可以在面試中最大限度地對(duì)每條技能進(jìn)行解釋。
Under the heading of education and qualifications you should include formal and vocational training but keep the list short and concise. Include the details of where and when you received the training but it’s not necessary to list the grades of your qualifications. If they aren’t exceptional it is usually better to omit this information在教育背景和技能的一欄中，可以包括正式的和職業(yè)培訓(xùn)，但是內(nèi)容要簡(jiǎn)短扼要。只需列出培訓(xùn)的地點(diǎn)和時(shí)間，而無(wú)需指明培訓(xùn)的成績(jī)。如果這些不是有什么特別的，最好是可以把這些信息給刪除了。
When you are listing any jobs you have had, it is common to do this in reverse chronological order; listing your most recent job first and working backwards. Give a brief summary of your roles and responsibilities and omit any jobs not related to the job you are applying for. Also avoid listing your salaries對(duì)你將所有的工作都列舉出來(lái)，一般的做法是按時(shí)間排序。將最近的工作先列舉出來(lái)，然后以此類推。對(duì)你的工作角色和職責(zé)進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)要的總結(jié)，將其他與應(yīng)聘職位無(wú)關(guān)的工作經(jīng)歷刪除。切記不要列出你的薪資。
What you leave off your CV is very important. Decide what is relevant and edit out the rest. For example, similar jobs can be grouped together under just one heading and emphasise promotions rather just listing all your job positions簡(jiǎn)歷中不需要信息的篩選是很重要的。決定何為相關(guān)信息，然后將多余信息刪除。例如，相同工作可以歸類在同一標(biāo)題下并標(biāo)出相同賣點(diǎn)，而不是針對(duì)所有的工作職位。

Political affiliations 政治背景
Information about your family members 家庭成員的信息
Lies about your job experience or educational background謊稱的工作經(jīng)歷和教育背景

What you hated about your last job你對(duì)以前討厭的地方
What you hated about your last boss or co-workers你對(duì)以前老板和同事討厭的地方

Age (for age, marital status and family status you need to be culturally aware. In the US it is not the custom to include these details. In the UK date of birth is optional and marital status no longer required. Things you could leave off, if your CV is becoming too long:你的簡(jiǎn)歷太長(zhǎng)，可以刪除以下幾點(diǎn)：
Interests and hobbies; anything relevant could be included elsewhere or put in your covering letter興趣和愛(ài)好；任何相關(guān)內(nèi)容可以隨意放，或者放在求職信中
Superfluous information; driving licence or school grades 多余的信息；駕照或?qū)W校成績(jī)
References (there is no need to provide references until a job offer has been made. You can state references are available on request or on receipt of a job offer)證明人（除非雇主有特別要求，一般情況下可以不用提供。根據(jù)要求或工作邀請(qǐng)書(shū)提供證明人的信息）
