從我參加工作到現(xiàn)在整整十八年時間，一直奮戰(zhàn)在英語教學的第一線，帶領(lǐng)學生參加過數(shù)屆畢業(yè)考試，英語學科在畢業(yè)考試中也像數(shù)學、語文學科一樣采用串校監(jiān)考和集體閱卷的方式進行測評。這對我們每一位英語教師來說是一個可喜的開始，說明小學英語教育逐漸被各方面所重視，我們不再僅僅是默默地付出、孤軍奮戰(zhàn)，相信我們的工作將被給予越來越多的關(guān)注。但欣喜的同時也感到身上的擔子愈發(fā)的重了，時間緊、任務(wù)重是我們不得不面對的事實，我們要克服工作中的重重困難提高學生的學習成績，確實需要動一些腦筋，下面我打算談?wù)勎以趲ьI(lǐng)六年級畢業(yè)班復(fù)習時的一些做法，希望可以與各位老師交流探討，共同提高。
我校六年級共有八個班近1000名學生，我?guī)Я似渲械乃�、六、七、八班。我所代的學生大部分為外來務(wù)工人員子女，學生英語基礎(chǔ)相對較差，兩極分化比較嚴重，學困生比重偏大，再加之班級人數(shù)過多。可以說，要想從整體上提高學生的英語成績，難度還是很大的。
一、注重點滴積累，從細節(jié)著眼提高學生成績。
我校學生是從三年級起點開始學習英語的，在學校學習之前，多數(shù)學生沒有接觸過英語，連26個字母都認不全，加之父母對其英語學習不夠重視，學生在課外學習英語的時間微乎其微。四年級的學生，英語的認讀書寫能力還非常差。于是，我在日常的教學中，在保證對學生進行相對充分的聽說訓練的同時，非常注重學生認讀書寫能力的訓練。因為我知道，英語的認讀書寫能力不但與學生的考試成績息息相關(guān)，還極大的影響著學生的自學能力，良好的認讀書寫能力，可以為學生英語學習的可持續(xù)性發(fā)展奠定堅實的基礎(chǔ)。課堂上，我積極創(chuàng)造條件讓學生認讀單詞和句子，從發(fā)音規(guī)則入手，幫助學生一點點感知字母及字母組合的發(fā)音，天長日久，很多學生可以根據(jù)單詞中所出現(xiàn)的字母及字母組合自己拼讀出新單詞，不要小瞧這看起來微不足道的成績，這樣的積累也可以幫助學生學會背單詞，減輕他們的學習負擔。
提起背單詞，我要說說我的做法：從事英語教學工作以來，我一直堅持以考察的方式督促學生背單詞。剛開始我采用最傳統(tǒng)的做法——我說漢語學生寫英語，我覺得這種考察方式效率最低，學生只是根據(jù)漢語意思死記硬背，有的甚至連單詞怎么讀都不知道。后來我又換了一種方式——我說英語，學生寫出單詞還要寫出單詞的意思，我覺得這種聽寫方式較前一種還是有所進步的，起碼在聽寫的同時加入了聽辨的訓練。但是，這兩種方式都有比較明顯的缺點：單詞是脫離語境的，好多孩子會背寫單詞卻不會用。課標中多次強調(diào)我們要在語境中學習新知，這樣才能達到學以致用的目的。于是我就琢磨了一下，是不是能對我的日常課堂測驗進行一下改革？讓單詞測驗?zāi)芨行У拇龠M學生的英語學習水平。功夫不負有心人，我想出了一個自認為較好的辦法：我每節(jié)課只考學生五個單詞，但是，這五個單詞是在句子中呈現(xiàn)的，因為我校條件有限，我就在上課之前準備一塊小黑板，在黑板上寫出包含要考單詞的句子，讓學生在聽寫本上根據(jù)句子寫出單詞。如果學生不了解單詞的用法及相關(guān)語境，是無法順利完成測試任務(wù)的，這種方法不但考察了學生的單詞拼寫情況，還考察出學生對于單詞用法的了解及是否能正確認讀句子，可謂一舉多得。寫一塊小黑板，我可以用四個班，如果學校的教室里有多媒體設(shè)施，就更方便了，而且，每節(jié)課只抽查五個單詞，就可以基本了解學生的學習情況，還不會給老師帶來沉重的批改負擔，我個人認為是個比較理想的測試方法。
測試是對學生學習效果的檢測，良好的學習效果需要合理的練習和充分的復(fù)習來保證。家庭作業(yè)作為學生課后復(fù)習的主要途徑，應(yīng)該被給予足夠的重視。我校學生基礎(chǔ)有限，很難在課后獨立完成相對復(fù)雜的創(chuàng)造性作業(yè)，加之學生抄寫及書寫的能力都很差，所以，最簡單的抄寫作業(yè)對他們來說其實是非常必要的。剛開始的時候，我就是讓他們單純的抄寫新單詞，因為我希望他們可以通過機械的抄寫熟悉并記住新單詞。后來，因為要在語境中學習并考察單詞，我就稍稍改動了一下作業(yè)中的抄寫任務(wù)：學生不但要抄寫新單詞一行，還要在課文中找出含有這個單詞的句子并抄寫在單詞的下面。這樣的改動對我們的學生來說難度不大，他們完全可以在課后獨立完成，而且還能在無形中幫助他們了解了單詞的用法，鍛煉了句子的'認讀書寫能力，為日常測驗及各種考試奠定了基礎(chǔ)。
以上這些都是我在日常教學中所做的點滴小事，它們看似普通，但其實是日后取得所有成績的基石，我的學生進步比較慢。所以永不放棄的堅持是做好小事的唯一法寶，回頭看去，這其中有太多的艱辛和汗水，但是看看孩子們?nèi)〉玫倪M步和成績，我覺得這些努力都是值得的。
二、充分利用有效復(fù)習時間，向課堂教學要質(zhì)量。
俗話說：臨陣磨槍，不快也光。說明合理有效的期末復(fù)習，對于學生學習成績的提高也是非常重要的。學生在日常的學習中汲取了很多的知識，但這些知識在頭腦中是零散的，期末復(fù)習可以通過歸類總結(jié)等方式讓這些零散的知識系統(tǒng)化，更有利于學生掌握和運用這些知識。我們平時的課時就比較少，我真的覺得一周四節(jié)英語課實在是不夠用，所以期末的復(fù)習時間也不是十分充分。這也就要求我用最短的時間做最多的事情，最大限度的提高我的工作效率。
感謝學校的支持，讓我可以像數(shù)學語文老師一樣給學生印復(fù)習卷。我從公共郵箱下載了各校老師出的單元復(fù)習題，作為每一單元的復(fù)習和鞏固，在單元學習結(jié)束后讓學生完成。有些孩子的完成情況其實并不好，但我看重的不是一時的成績，我更看重完成試卷過程中的收獲：首先，是讓學生熟悉英語試卷。我的學生在學習中接觸英語試卷的機會非常的少，所以每次期末考試都會有學生因為不會審題不會答卷而丟分，作為小學生，我覺得在沒有得到充分訓練的前提下出現(xiàn)這樣的錯誤時可以理解的，所以，我抓住這個寶貴的機會鍛煉學生，讓他們在日后的考試中見到英語試題不會感到不知所措。其次，我可以在單元的綜合測試中了解學生對于知識點的掌握情況，存在問題的加強鞏固，并在日后的教學中盡量避免出現(xiàn)類似的問題。
因為在平時教學中做了相對充分的準備，所以在期末復(fù)習階段，我可以不用那么手忙腳亂，事實證明，有條不紊的復(fù)習，更能收到理想的效果。因為畢業(yè)考試要考察1——8冊的單詞，所以，我把前八冊單詞進行了簡單的歸納。按照顏色、形狀、服裝等進行了分類，并在每節(jié)復(fù)習課之前帶領(lǐng)學生復(fù)習一個種類的單詞。因為我的學生學習能力較差，我沒有要求他們把所有的單詞都背下來，而是挑重點的讓他們根據(jù)讀音規(guī)則去記單詞中的字母組合，基本上孩子只要會讀就能寫出來，與其貪功求大倒不如把目光放低放實，這種有針對性的練習效果真的很好，大部分學生的成績有了顯著提高。
為了了解學生的學習及復(fù)習情況同時也為了讓學生重視英語學習，每一次測試我都要認真批改，及時總結(jié)。為了提高學困生的學習成績，我一次又一次的發(fā)動成績好的學生幫助他們，孩子們都是有惰性的，因為很多學困生幫助起來確實難度較大，總有學生跑到我這里來告狀和打退堂鼓。可是我知道無論如何我不能放棄，我只能不厭其煩的表揚和鼓勵他們，讓他們從各個角度看到自己的付出所取得的成績，幫助他們樹立堅持下去的信心和毅力。都說一分耕耘一分收獲，我終于在考試之后看到了令人欣喜的成績，所以，我才有勇氣把自己在平時工作中的一些做法寫出來與大家交流，相信各位老師還有更多更好的做法，在這里，我也虛心向老師們求教，希望大家能夠幫助我。
