　　一、正確使用英文

　　不論教授們的學識多么淵博，都要通過為申請者撰寫留學推薦信，以合理的表達方式向考官們展現申請者的才能。也就是說連接著國內教授和國外考官的唯一渠道就是文字。如果留學推薦信寫的一塌糊涂，甚至出現用詞不準確、語法錯誤等低級失誤，給人家的第一印象就是你的英語水平不過硬，也就不會重視這封信了。

　　二、全面的'、毫無保留的展示申請者的才能

　　考官們在申請者的推薦信中最想看的是申請者的專業背景程度。包括：對專業知識的掌握程度、是否有相關的工作經歷、在申請專業上有突出成績和建樹。教授們請注意，在具體的敘述中不要直截了當的寫出來，要表達出申請者為什么要選擇該專業、申請者的工作到底是怎樣的、申請者是怎樣取得的成績等，要注重過程的描寫，這樣才會讓考官覺得真實自然。
