On the Translation of the Titles of Books and Articles
Abstract
As we all known, the titles of books and articles are just like the eyes of human beings, which can express the central spirit and main content of the article and book. The first part of the thesis will illustrate the significance of title translation through many examples to arouse the attention of translators while translating titles. The second part will expound the basic theories on translation by explaining the concept of translation, the criteria for translation, and two tyhttps://p.9136.com/28pletely. The last part will summarize the main principles of title translation through a lot of examples to give some advices.
All in all, this thesis will be based on the basic theories of translation and examples of title translation to study the criteria, methods and principles of title translation. The main purpose, on the one hand, is to attract the attention on title translation of translators; on the other hand, this thesis will also provide some advisory skills and principles.

摘 要
眾所周知，文章和書(shū)名的標(biāo)題就如同人的眼睛1樣，是理解全文中心思想和主要內(nèi)容的點(diǎn)睛之筆。本文第1部分將通過(guò)標(biāo)題翻譯的實(shí)例來(lái)證明標(biāo)題翻譯的重要性從而使翻譯人員能夠更為重視文章和書(shū)名的標(biāo)題翻譯。第2部分將通過(guò)對(duì)翻譯的定義，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，以及最為普遍的兩種翻譯方法直譯和意譯等基本概念來(lái)闡明相關(guān)的翻譯基本理論，以便更好的使標(biāo)題翻譯達(dá)到理論與實(shí)踐的充分結(jié)合。第3部分文章亦會(huì)通過(guò)大量示例來(lái)總結(jié)1些標(biāo)題翻譯的.主要原則從而對(duì)標(biāo)題的翻譯工作提出參考意見(jiàn)。
總而言之，本文旨在通過(guò)對(duì)翻譯的原則和理論進(jìn)行1定的研究，再基于對(duì)相關(guān)論文對(duì)各種書(shū)名與標(biāo)題翻譯的實(shí)例對(duì)標(biāo)題翻譯的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，方法以及原則進(jìn)行研究和總結(jié)。目的是希望能夠在引起所有的翻譯工作者對(duì)標(biāo)題翻譯重視的同時(shí)可以為書(shū)名與文章標(biāo)題的翻譯提供1些可供參考的翻譯技巧和原則。
