          hello everyone!

I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill andmountain shall be made low,the rough places will be made plain, and the crookedplaces will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, andall flesh shall see it together.

Wow,what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changingworld seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow inthe process of growing up,and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbyeunconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.

However,we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they representpossibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Mostsuccessful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid tothink big and dare to be great. When we were little kids,we all dreamed ofdoing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to dois to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, thetoughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams intoactions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t letthe nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future.Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through ourcreativity,we will make it.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken—winged bird thatcannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go,life is a barren fieldfrozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams.Whatever it is,pick it up and make it alive from today.

          Thank you!

          good afternoon:

honorable judges, dear teachers and close friends.i’m very glad to standhere to share my speech with you.today i’m going to talk about dreams.

          everyone has a dream.

martin luther king had a dream-and we can all recall his civil rightsspeech.phil knight had a dream-and now the whole world knows his nikeslogan“just do it”!

i also have a dream, but not only a simple one.

when i was in primary school,my dream was that i would be a doctor when igrew up.i’ll be the first person who produces a new medicine.this kind ofmedicine can make teachers relax when they are busy correcting their students’exercises and preparing their lessons.because one day when i woke up atmidnight,i found my father,a senior chinese teacher, was still busy with hiswork.i was deeply moved.i wish my father could be healthy and relaxed everyminute.

now i’m a senior grade two student, all my classmates and i are workinghard,we all know the college entrance examination which will come in the year of__ is a big problem for us.we must study harder and harder in order to go to agood university, then when we finish our school,we can find a good job insociety.my dream is also that.though now i’m not good at study,i’ll try mybest.

Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! Im very glad to stand here and giveyou a short speech. today my topic is "youth". I hope you will like it , andfound the importance in your youth so that more cherish it. Do you know what isyouth? How do you master your youth?

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is thefreshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of theappetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We growold by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul .Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of whats next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart theres a wireless station : so longas it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men andfrom the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows ofcynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but aslong as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you maydie young at 80.

          Thank you!

No young man believes he shall ever die. There is a feeling of Eternity inyouth, which makes us amend for be young to be as one of the Immortal Gods. Onehalf of time indeed is flown-the other half remains in store for as with all itscountless treasures; for there is no line drawn, and we see no limit to ourhopes and wishes. We make the coming age our own.

The vast, the unbounded prospect lies before us,including our dreams.

So I'll say:Concentrate upon your dreams and they will become materialactualities. Through concentration we work out our dreams in physical life. Yourfuture depends upon the dreams you are forming now. Your past dreams aredetermining your present. Therefore,if you want a bright future, you must beginto prepare for it today.

We say a man is as changeable as the weather. What is meant is his dreamschange. Every time you change your idea you think differently. You become like arudderless boat on an ocean. Therefore realize the importance of holding to yourdream until it becomes a reality .

Catch the star that holds your destiny, the one that forever twinkleswithin your heart. Take advantage of precious opporyunities while they stillsparkle before you. Always believe that your ultimate goal is attainable as longas you commit yourself to it.

Though barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams, rememberthat your destiny is hiding behind them. Accept the fect that not everyone isgoimg to approve of the choices you've made, have faith in your judgement, catchthe star that twinkles in your heart, and it will lead you to your destiny'spath. Follow that pathway and uncover the sweet sunrises that await you.

Take pride in your accomplishments,as they are stepping stones to yourdreams. Understand that you may make mistakes, but don't let them discourageyou. Value your capabilities and talents for they are what make you trulyunique. The greatest gifts in life are not purchased, but acquired through hardwork and determination. Finding the star that twinkles in your heart for youalone are capable of making your brightest dreams come true.

So don't think that you are neglected,or not understood,or notappreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure.

Don't pity yourself, criticise yourself. You know that the only thing inthe world that you have got to count upon is yourself.

          Good morning !

My great pleasure to share my dream with you today.when i was a child, iwanted to be a teacher. my father was a teacher, and he taught me a lot. iworshiped him very much. on my tenth birthday, he asked me,“what do you want tobe when you grow up?”i answered proudly,“i want to be a teacher like you!”onhearing this, my father was very happy and said to me, “work hard and your dreamwill come true.”

Not long ago, one of my primary school teachers was ill. she wanted me totake her place for two weeks. i was glad but nervous. my father said to me,“thisis a good chance. seize it! i wish you success!” when i came into the classroom, the children were very happy. i introduced myself to them. soon, i got on wellwith them. they all liked me and i loved them. with my father and headmastershelp, i did the work very well. now, i often miss those lovely children.

That experience had made me even more interested in being a teacher in thefuture.
