全職媽媽再就業(yè)要注意

Highlight Related Activities 突出相關(guān)活動
You need to convince employers that you have the skills and experience to do the job, so your resume's content must actively sell you. When writing about your time out of the paid workforce, only include activities that back up the skills relevant to your career goal.
你需要說服你的老板，讓他知道你有足夠的能力和經(jīng)驗來做好這份工作，所以你履歷的內(nèi)容必須努力把你“推銷”出去。在描述你不工作的那段時期時，只需寫上那些與你職業(yè)目標(biāo)相關(guān)的專業(yè)技能的活動就可以了。
Most women who stay at home for a period of time are not just doing laundry and homework oversight. And most women are involved in significant volunteer efforts, and that is the experience that should be included in a resume.
大多數(shù)在家里呆了一段時間的女性不是只在家里洗衣做家務(wù)。她們都會參加一些重要的志愿活動，這些經(jīng)歷都應(yīng)該寫到履歷里。
You can highlight the following activities on your resume:

Should You Use a Job Title? 是否該添上一個“工作頭銜”呢？
There's conflicting advice about whether to give yourself a job title and job description for your role as a parent. If your homemaker activities are related to your job target, it makes sense to draw attention to your parenting activities and accomplishments.
作為一名“專職父親”或者“專職母親”，是否該給自己加上一個“工作頭銜”和一段“工作概況”呢？對此大家意見不一。如果你所做的家務(wù)與你的工作目標(biāo)相關(guān)的話，讓招聘者注意到你的養(yǎng)育工作和取得的成績將會很有用。
For most people, though, it's best to avoid including parenting as an actual job on the resume. We personally feel that there is no need to dress up time at home with silly titles like homestic Engineer. The important thing is to identify how you have continued to use your business skills in the time you have been out of the workforce. And if you truly have had nothing but child care and household responsibilities, it would be a good idea to get involved in some volunteer activities that require business skills -- managing committees, writing newsletters, handling budgets, etc.
但是，對于大多數(shù)人來說，最好不要在履歷中把養(yǎng)育孩子當(dāng)作真正的工作。我們感覺沒有必要用像“家庭技師”這樣無聊的頭銜來修飾自己在家的那段經(jīng)歷。最重要的是你需要指出在你沒有工作的那段時間，你是如何繼續(xù)運(yùn)用你的工作技能的。如果除了帶孩子和做家務(wù)之外，你真的什么都沒干的話，去參加一些要求工作技能的志愿者活動是個不錯的主意，比如說管理委員會、撰寫時事通訊或者處理預(yù)算等等。”

Select the Best Format 選擇最好的格式
According to Linda Matias, president of the National Resume Writers' Association and Career Strides, the right format is critical to getting noticed. Matias suggests that parents avoid chronological resumes and consider using a combination format. A chronological resume can eliminate a parent's candidacy in seconds, she says.
美國履歷書寫協(xié)會和Career Strides公司主席琳達(dá)?馬提斯認(rèn)為，正確的格式對于履歷能否引起招聘者的注意至關(guān)重要。馬提斯建議父母們要避免使用年序履歷的格式，可以考慮使用多種形式相結(jié)合的模式。她說，年序履歷會直接導(dǎo)致“專職父母”被淘汰出局。
Parents who have been out of the workforce for a number of years and have minimal alternative experience such as volunteer work may need a functional resume. Although functional resumes are not preferred by hiring managers, this format allows you to emphasize your skills while downplaying your employment history.
對于那些已經(jīng)多年沒有工作并且在志愿者活動方面經(jīng)驗也很少的父母來說，他們可能需要一份功能履歷。盡管招聘經(jīng)理們不太喜歡功能型履歷，但是這種格式不僅能夠讓你突出自己的能力，同時也可以將你的工作經(jīng)歷那部分內(nèi)容輕描淡寫地應(yīng)付過去。
Be Honest 做一個誠實(shí)的人
Anyway, this is the most simple but important point. Use your cover letter to briefly explain your recent gap, but emphasize that you have kept your skills up-to-date and are energized to return to the workforce.
不管怎么說，這是最簡單但也是最重要的一點(diǎn)。在你的求職信里簡要地說明你最近的工作空檔，但是同時也應(yīng)該強(qiáng)調(diào)你一直不斷提高和更新自己的職業(yè)技能，也有足夠的精力回到工作中來。
