　　EX3：On a certain number line, if -7 is a distance 4from n and 7 is a distance of 18 from n, then n=?

　　解析：前半個表達(dá)是4是-7到n的distance,后面半個表達(dá)是18是7到11的distance，所以from后面的是起點，列出式子：-7- n=4, 7-n=18，兩個都解出來n=-11。注意體會表達(dá)，a distance 4=a distance of 4。

　　EX4：A is as twice the price as B

　　解析：上式代表A=2B。類似的表達(dá)很容易理解錯誤，請大家多多在解題時注意總結(jié)。

　　2. 錯誤理解：

　　在概率問題中只有獨立事件才可以用P=PP，比如下面：
