(1)要優(yōu)雅。 用字遣詞必須適當(dāng),應(yīng)避免太乖僻生澀的字句或太多令經(jīng)理階層,即雇用之決策者,無法了解的專門術(shù)語(jargons)及簡稱(acronyms),也應(yīng)避免太青少年氣息的(juvenile)或低俗的語氣。前者令雇主覺得你在故弄玄虛或炫耀(showoff)所學(xué),后者令人覺得你不成熟,難擔(dān)當(dāng)重任。
(2)要有條不紊。自傳的格式應(yīng)如本章所示的范文,將你的姓名、地址、電話、教育背景、工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)、個(gè)人值得提供的資料等,逐項(xiàng)標(biāo)示清楚,有系統(tǒng)地一一載明。教育背景應(yīng)先列最高學(xué)歷,再往以前列記。工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)亦應(yīng)將最近的經(jīng)驗(yàn)先列明,再逐一上溯。這是因?yàn)椋浇慕?jīng)歷越應(yīng)受重視之故。
(3)要提出令人信服的好處與專長。因此有關(guān)個(gè)人的過去工作成就、專業(yè)貢獻(xiàn)或社會成就,都是雇主想要獲得的資產(chǎn)(asset),一定要在自傳中撰寫清楚,并將之凸顯出來。
