          最新考研英語(yǔ)作文:我們這一輩與父輩的區(qū)別 篇1

          Topic(題目):

          Every generation of people is different inimportant ways. How is your generationdifferent from your parents’ generation? Usespecific reasons and examples to explain youranswer.

          Model Essay(范文):

          The principal differences between my generation and my parents’ generation are in how theyrelate to others. My generation is more tolerant of other people’s choices, less concernedabout what others think, and more self-centered.

          My parents’ generation has stricter standards about what kinds of behavior are acceptable.They sometimes have a hard time accepting the fact that other people may have different ideasabout what’s right and what’s wrong. My generation thinks people should have a lot of choices.For example, they choose whom they want to live with, whether or not to have children,whether or not to practice a particular religion, and what to do for a living.

          My parents’ generation is much more concerned about what other people think of them. Manygrew up in tightly knit communities where people knew each other’s families. Filling in meantthat you had to act a certain way. Many of my generation grew up in loosely knit communities,where we only knew about our closest neighbors. We didn’t care what the rest of thecommunity thought of us. Also, we were a very rebellious generation and often did thing justto shock people.

          Wherever we grew up, most of my generation didn’t have to worry about having enough to eator a roof over our heads. My parents’ generation did. They grew up during the GreatDepression, when many people were poor. For this reason, my parents didn’t have time toanalyze their feelings or think about their inner selves. They were too busy trying to get by.Children of my generation were well taken care of by their parents. Because of that, we had timeto think about ourselves and our place in the universe. As adults, many of us have continuedto be self-absorbed. We join health clubs to be prefect in body and go into therapy to beperfect in mind.

          When I think about our actions, it seems that my parents’ generation is more “outer” directedand my generation is more “inner directed.”

          最新考研英語(yǔ)作文:我們這一輩與父輩的區(qū)別 篇2

          In the future. a girl tells her mother on the phone thatshe cannot go back home and spend the National Dayholiday together with her parents because she has booked asightseeing trip. The girl looks happy but her aged motherdisappointed。

          It goes without saying that this cartoon mirrors therelationship between adult children and their elderlyparents. Nowadays. the increasingly fierce competitioncompels people to make every effort to work. And theymake use of their precious spare time to entertainthemselves as an escape from stressful reality. Therefore.they have little time to spend together with their parents.The aged parents, on the other hand, overwhelmed by avacuum when they retire from their jobs, have nothing todo but long for their children to come back。

          As far as I can see. the relationship between parents and children is of supreme significance.Children need to spend more time staying with their parents and express love and concern to them. In addition, it is advisable for theparents to accept the fact that sooner or later their childrenwill leave them for an independent life. By looking for socialcircles of their own and cultivating hobbies such as writing,painting and singing, elderly parents will enjoy a morecolorful life in their remaining years。

          最新考研英語(yǔ)作文:我們這一輩與父輩的區(qū)別 篇3

          I accidentally saw an article about gender education for children, and thought that my friend Qingjia Baobao was a girl, and then sent Qing a message. The article also briefly talked about how we should educate children about gender issues, and said that we should correctly tell children where children come from. Not like our parents told us that the child was picked from the trash can. There are also some topics about the growth of girls.

          I remember the last time Xiaoxiu came home from school and told us, Mom, I know where I came from. It is because the sperm in the father's belly meets the egg in the mother's belly, and then a baby is born, and then after ten months in the mother's belly, it grows into a big baby and is born.

          After listening to it, I was particularly shocked, and I also felt that the children of today are really different from when we were young.

          When we were young, we always thought we picked it up from the roadside. And no one told us in the right way about a lot of first-time girls. Fortunately, they matured earlier psychologically and later physically matured, and basically they knew it by themselves.

          Thinking about it, it really looks like a generation.

          Today's children know a lot, both good and bad.

          I just hope that as parents, we can guide our children correctly and let them grow up healthily and happily!

          最新考研英語(yǔ)作文:我們這一輩與父輩的區(qū)別 篇4

          The mother helps take care of the child, and the husband is also very diligent. Whenever he is free at home, he changes diapers, feeds him water, burps him, and puts him to sleep. But two people often disagree, and both of them come to me to complain about each other. I'm really embarrassed.

          For example, a few days ago, the child's poop began to have milk flaps, and the mother would nag every time she changed diapers. It's all like this, there's no need to deal with it, it's better not to take medicine at such a young age. I was in the middle and muddled and finally decided to give him half the serving each time.

          Another example is that there are some small bumps on the child's face. I don't know whether it is prickly heat or eczema. The mother said that the child was angry and wanted to give him honeysuckle; Personally came to me again to complain.

          Another example is that it is very difficult for a child to burp every time after feeding. The mother wants to hold the child and pat him on the back, but the husband says that holding the child for too long is not good for the child's spine development, so the child should be placed on the side; Better than being choked with milk. One wants to be hugged, and the other is not allowed to be hugged...

          I know clearly in my heart that everyone is wholeheartedly for the good of the child, and everyone has paid a lot for him. My mother has her parenting experience, and my husband is right. Being caught between them, I don't want to hurt everyone. Sometimes I really don't know what to do.
