上海惠靈頓國際學(xué)校以英國國家課程為基礎(chǔ)，秉承了英國惠靈頓公學(xué)獨(dú)特的惠靈頓多元智能教育理念和惠靈頓價(jià)值觀。
上�；蒽`頓國際學(xué)校為學(xué)生們提供了包羅萬象的課外活動(dòng)和惠靈頓課外課程學(xué)院項(xiàng)目，涵括了音樂、表演藝術(shù)和體育等方面。
上�；蒽`頓國際學(xué)校將沿襲英國惠靈頓公學(xué)的非營利性性質(zhì)和皇室背景的歷史。英國惠靈頓公學(xué)于1859年由維多利亞女王為紀(jì)念大不列顛最偉大的軍事家惠靈頓公爵而建立。
Opened in August 2014 and located in the New Bund area, Wellington College International Shanghai is a fully co-educational day and boarding school with over 800 pupils, aged 2 to 18.
Embracing the ethos of Wellington College in the UK, Wellington’s curriculum is based on the British national curriculum and the fundamental approach of its unique model of education, the Wellington Aptitudes.
Wellington shares its not-for-profit status and royal foundation with its sister school, Wellington College in the UK, which was originally founded by Queen Victoria in 1859 as the national memorial to Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington.
學(xué)校課程 Curriculum
上�；蒽`頓國際學(xué)校幼兒園小班至9年級(jí)的課程設(shè)置以英國國家課程及國際小學(xué)課程為基礎(chǔ)，10年級(jí)至11年級(jí)的學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)IGCSE課程，12至13年級(jí)的學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)IBDP課程。
Wellington pupils follow a mixture of the British National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum from Pre-Nursery until Year 9 which leads to International General Certificate of Secondary Education IGCSE in Years 10-11. In Years 12 and 13, the pupils study for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

體育設(shè)施 Sport
在體育課上，學(xué)生可以體驗(yàn)到各類運(yùn)動(dòng)項(xiàng)目，包括足球、板球、橄欖球、英式籃球、游泳、田徑及如網(wǎng)球和羽毛球等球類運(yùn)動(dòng)。課外活動(dòng)時(shí)，學(xué)生們還可以嘗試擊劍、潛水及武術(shù)等運(yùn)動(dòng)。
作為包括中蒙國際學(xué)校協(xié)會(huì)(ACAMIS)及亞洲英國國際學(xué)校聯(lián)盟(FOBISIA)等多個(gè)國內(nèi)及國際體育聯(lián)盟的活躍成員，上�；蒽`頓國際學(xué)校每年都受邀參與或主辦各類賽事，學(xué)生有機(jī)會(huì)參與海內(nèi)外的體育比賽。
上�；蒽`頓國際學(xué)校擁有以一流的體育設(shè)施：體育館、足球場(chǎng)、板球場(chǎng)、25米賽道游泳池、網(wǎng)球場(chǎng)、籃球場(chǎng)、板球館和400米跑道，滿足了課內(nèi)外教育的一切需求。
Throughout the academic year, pupils are able to experience all major sport including football, cricket, rugby, netball, swimming, athletics and racket sports such as tennis and badminton. In addition to these, more sports are offered within the co-curricular activities including fencing, scuba diving and martial arts.
Pupils have the opportunity to compete home and abroad. The College is invited or host a range of sporting competitions through our membership in leagues including the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS).
The College is home to a sports hall, three football pitches, a 400-metres all weather synthetic running track, tennis and basketball courts, and two swimming pools, including a 25 metres, six-lane competition pool, amongst multiple other indoor and outdoor facilities.

校長(zhǎng)介紹
上�；蒽`頓外籍人員子女學(xué)校迎來了新校長(zhǎng)Brendon Fulton的到來。Fulton先生從阿聯(lián)酋來到惠靈頓，他曾在迪拜英國學(xué)校(Dubai BritishSchool)擔(dān)任集團(tuán)內(nèi)三所學(xué)校的執(zhí)行校長(zhǎng)。Fulton先生來自南非，他的職業(yè)生涯始于IT行業(yè)，后來轉(zhuǎn)行到教育行業(yè)，擔(dān)任計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)教師和員工IT技術(shù)發(fā)展協(xié)調(diào)員。他還擔(dān)任過南非、英國和卡塔爾教育機(jī)構(gòu)的高級(jí)技能教師、學(xué)科主任、學(xué)生關(guān)懷主任和學(xué)校副校長(zhǎng)等職務(wù)。Fulton先生說:“上�；蒽`頓外籍人員子女學(xué)校為孩子們提供了最好的機(jī)會(huì)，讓他們發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的才能，并將其發(fā)展成一種激情、職業(yè)和生活方式。我非常榮幸和自豪能夠成為上�；蒽`頓外籍人員子女學(xué)校的執(zhí)行校長(zhǎng)。”
