留學英國要學會的俚語
國內(nèi)的方言大家或多或少都接觸過，那英國人有方言嗎?有沒有方言不知道，但他們?nèi)粘Ｉ钪械恼Z言是俚語。俚語的種類非常多，其中最有名也是最受留學生模仿學習的就是倫敦押韻俚語(Cockney Rhyming Slang)。這種俚語因發(fā)源于倫敦東區(qū)(cockney)而得名， Cockney (or cockney) 這個詞的意思就是“倫敦佬”。傳統(tǒng)的押韻俚語并不容易被模仿和學習的原因是是由于有時候每個俚語的第二個詞會被省略，或者使用與一個單詞韻律相同的片語來代替這個單詞。
一般人很難理解這樣復雜的變化是因為俚語產(chǎn)生之初的目的之一就是為了保密，用于監(jiān)獄，軍事等場所。還有一個重要的作用就是為了方便大家罵街，說出來更溜，更有氣勢。
經(jīng)過時代的演變和進化，部分詞組和表達被沿用至今，許多新生代的俚語源源不斷的補充，進而有了一個較為系統(tǒng)的俚語收錄。接下來就給大家介紹幾個街頭巷尾常聽到俚語。
Ropey=Not very good 形容詞，表示不太好，既可以形容你的心情，感覺，也可以用于描述物體。
I feel a bit ropey today. 我今天感覺不太舒服。
Your tyres look a bit ropy, don't they? 你的輪胎貌似狀況不太好?
Your spelling's a bit ropey. 你的拼寫有點難看。
Gutted=Extreme disappointment 形容心情很沮喪，很難過
If my cat ran away, I'd be positively gutted. 如果我的貓離開我我一定會很難過。
His girlfriend broke up with him. He’s absolutely gutted.他的女朋友和他分手了，他肯定很難過
Cotch=To hang/chill on your ownor with other people 既是動詞也可以做形容詞某些情況下還是名詞，多用于朋友之間表示一起出去放松玩樂一下。
Blud= "Blud" comes from bredrin (brother) or blood brother,but now it doesn't havent to mean a literal brother more like a friend.名詞，相當于朋友，伙伴，常常和上面介紹的'cotch一起出現(xiàn)在朋友的日常對話中
How you doing, blud. 最近過的怎么樣，兄弟
Come we go cotch.讓我們?nèi)シ潘梢幌?/p>
Wanna come and cotch at my house tonight blud.大家今晚來我家玩吧
Scrummy=A combination of "scrumptious" and "yummy", used to convey that deep, satisfied pleasure that comes after you finish something (atelevision show, a good meal, etc). 表示很滿足，很開心，可以用于食物也可以對某件事某個表演。
The guy who just walked in is so scrummy hot.剛才走進來的那個人簡直帥呆了。
After she finished watching the television episode, Anna leaned back contentedly and said, "That was scrummy."安娜看完電視劇后，怡然自得的說：“簡直太享受了”
The apple pie was absolutely scrummy， I had threepieces.這個蘋果派太好吃了，我都吃了三個了。
Knackered= Exhausted, tired or sleepy 形容詞，表示很疲憊
I'm feeling a bit knackered today.我今天好累。
I am absolutely knackered after working all day.工作一天之后我都累壞了。
Skive=To be absent from work or school during the hours that you should normally be there發(fā)現(xiàn)小伙伴想翹課或者不去上班，可以用這個詞
Rebecca isn't here because she has skived off for a lunch time date.麗貝卡不在這因為她趁著午飯時間溜走了。
My best excuse for skiving is I'm sick.我最好的翹課理由就是生病了
Take the piss=To rile, mock, or be a jerk to another person whether or not the person is joking or being serious.表示吐槽別人，或者開玩笑
The guys on TV last night were taking the piss out of the government again.那群家伙昨晚又在電視上吐槽政府了。
He's taking the piss out of you.他在吐槽你呢
Drop a clanger=To make an obvious mistake，To say something innocent in an unfortunate context 當眾失言，說出令人尷尬的話
I dropped a clanger by asking John how his dog was when it's been dead three months.我失言詢問他家狗的情況，卻不知道他的狗3個月前死了。
