菲律賓總統(tǒng)在上海世博會的電視英語演講稿
2010年上海世博會上，2000平方米的菲律賓國家館將帶來“動感之都”。國家館將把音樂表演藝術(shù)和城市規(guī)劃相結(jié)合，展示菲律賓人民如何把音樂和表演元素融入城市規(guī)劃，使之成為城市風(fēng)景的一道必要元素。

The Philippines is proud and honored to participate in the Shanghai Expo.
我們很榮幸和自豪能夠參加2010年的上海世博會。
China is third largest ecnomy in the world and the fastest growing. We see its rise as a significant opportunity for the Philippines. Our overall relations with China are now more confident, mature, and comprehensive, punctuated with substantial and important projects aimed at deepening exchanges in a number of areas, including trade and investment. With such comprehensive relationship between our countries, we look forward to a significant involvement in this landmark exposition. We hope that the Philippine Pavillion and its sponsored events can put the spotlight on our country's culture and resources.
中國的經(jīng)濟發(fā)展迅速并且已經(jīng)成為世界上第三大經(jīng)濟體，我們將中國的崛起看做一個重要的機會，目前菲律賓于中國的整體關(guān)系更加成熟和全面，我們倍感自信。雙方有大量切合實際的重要的項目，旨在加深包括貿(mào)易和投資在內(nèi)的一些領(lǐng)域的往來。伴隨存在于兩國之間全面的合作關(guān)系，我們很期待去參與這有里程碑意義的博覽會。我們希望菲律賓的展館及其展會的主辦者可以聚焦于菲律賓國家的'文化和特點之上。
I also take this occasion to extend to China our sincerest gratitude for the enormous opportunities Expo2010 offers the Philippines. Our products and services will be exposed to the internatioanl community, particularly to China, through the expected 70 million visitors to the event.
借此機會，我還要向中國表示最誠摯的感謝。菲律賓通過2010上海世博會，擴展了在中國的大量商機。我們的產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)將面對國際社會，特別是中國，通過7000萬的世博參觀者。
We invite everyone to visit the Philippine Pavillion at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai and savor Filipino culture and hospitality. The government and the Philippine business community have combined their efforts to showcase the best of what the country offers and the genuine warmth of our people.
我們邀請每一位都來參觀上海世博會的菲律賓展館，品味菲律賓的文化和熱情好客。菲律賓政府和菲律賓商界集合他們的努力去展示最佳的國家應(yīng)該提供什么，和人民真正的溫暖。
