安德森博士：
從剛從貴校返回的李全志先生處，德知貴校正在考慮下學年給貴校學生開設中文課，或可有一中文教師之空缺。本人對此職頗有興趣。
從1980年起，本人一直在高校講授中國文學與寫作課程。過去三年中，我曾主講暑期課程，向來自英語國家的學生教授中國語言與文化。因此，我對外國學生常見的學習困難非常熟知，并能設法改進教授方法以取得最佳效果。
積數年對英語的勤奮學習，我能毫無困難地用英語講課，并能與美國學生輕松相處。
