優(yōu)勢，即強調(diào)研究生相對于本科生在知識、學(xué)術(shù)方面的優(yōu)勢，如：知識面更廣(wider knowledge)，學(xué)術(shù)更專業(yè)(more professional)，眼界更廣闊等(broaden ones horizon)。
益處，即強調(diào)考研對你的未來的積極影響(have a positive effect on...)，可以從求職、職業(yè)規(guī)劃、人生經(jīng)歷等方面入手進行說明。可參考的詞匯、短語如下：Be helpful, contribute to, be beneficial to, be conductive to, be a definite advantage, become a strong point when it comes to... 等等。
