honorable judges, fellow students: good afternoon!
recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. the college students arethe beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education atextraordinary places. but will we be able to face the challenge and supportourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the lives of others? willwe be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of ourcountry?
the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, whichwould cringe at the slightest discomfort. but the cynics are wrong. the collegestudents i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. we helpeach other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take parttime jobs to supplement our pocket money.
the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect theneed for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong. we care deeplyfor each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. lastweek, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order tomake a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point inour lives. we all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each willprofoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. i believe inall my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a littlebit childish. i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challengeand take on our responsibilities. we are preparing to assume newresponsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to makeour world a better place. i believein our future.

大家好！
兩年前，我從xx英語教育院校畢業(yè)，躊躇滿志地從大學(xué)校門里走出來，滿懷信心地踏進(jìn)了這滿是孩子們的天堂。在我開始接任四年級(jí)二班的英語教程那一刻，我的心情忐忑不安，不知能否把課上好，當(dāng)我真正走上工作崗位，走上四二班教室的講臺(tái)時(shí)，面對一個(gè)個(gè)鮮活可愛的面孔，面對一雙雙求知的眼睛，我總是一次次默默的告訴自己，要努力，要加油，要成為深受學(xué)生歡迎的好老師。
有人說兒童是一本書雖然要讀懂這本書并非易事，但要成為一位出色的教師就必須去讀它，有人說，兒童是花木，教師是園丁，園丁悉心照料著花木，但需要尊重它們自然地成長。實(shí)際上，兒童比花木要復(fù)雜的多，教師的工作比園丁的工作也復(fù)雜的多，盡管他們擁有著共同或共通的規(guī)律。法國文學(xué)家雨果在他的詩里曾經(jīng)寫到：“花是尊貴的，果實(shí)是甜美的，讓我們都來做葉吧，因?yàn)槿~，是平凡而謙遜的�！蔽矣X得這首詩就是為教師寫的，因?yàn)榻處熅拖衲悄瞰I(xiàn)的綠葉，時(shí)時(shí)刻刻襯托著鮮花的嬌艷。今天，在慶祝教師節(jié)的日子里，我榮幸地站上這方講臺(tái)，誦讀這樣意味深長的詩句，即將開始我至真至誠的`講述，我心中無比激動(dòng)，也感到萬分的驕傲自豪。
時(shí)光匆匆，轉(zhuǎn)眼間我已走過了四年的從教生涯。雖然在大家看來這段時(shí)間有些短暫。但細(xì)數(shù)往昔歲月的點(diǎn)點(diǎn)滴滴，我還是要長嘆：生活原來給了我們那么多感動(dòng)。為了這真情付出后得到的感動(dòng)，我一直在追求著。剛剛參加工作時(shí)，信心百倍。記得第一次以教師的身份走進(jìn)課堂，感覺一切都是那樣美好。然而，醉酒方知酒味濃，為師才知為師難。一段時(shí)間之后，我先前良好的自我感覺早就一掃而空，面對一群求知欲渴的孩子們，我才真正意識(shí)到教師職業(yè)是何等的艱辛和瑣碎，三尺講臺(tái)站上去容易，要站好可真難��！
每個(gè)人都希望自己的人生風(fēng)和日麗，鶯歌燕舞。但月有陰晴圓缺，人有旦夕禍福，挫折和失敗總是不斷地踩痛我們的心。我們是把失意的怨氣撒在孩子身上，還是收起此時(shí)內(nèi)心的苦楚用微笑面對純真可愛的孩子？我想沒有人愿意選擇前者，因?yàn)槟愕男闹杏袗�！魯迅先生有句話“教育是植根與愛的”。是的，愛是教育的源泉，教師有了愛，才會(huì)用伯樂的眼光去發(fā)現(xiàn)孩子們的閃光點(diǎn)，才會(huì)對自己的教育對象充滿了信心和愛心，才會(huì)有追求卓越的精神和創(chuàng)新的精神。
今天，我是一名小學(xué)英語教師，愛我的學(xué)生，我會(huì)像母親一樣無私和不求索�。粣畚业膶W(xué)生，我會(huì)像手足一樣把心和他們貼得更近；愛我的學(xué)生，我會(huì)像朋友一樣與他們風(fēng)雨同舟；愛我的學(xué)生，我會(huì)不溺愛不袒護(hù)，在他們跌倒時(shí)，鼓勵(lì)他們勇敢的站起來！我相信“人民教師”這光榮而神圣的稱謂，它總能讓我擁有無窮的力量。

Everyone has his own understanding of young,it is a period of time ofbeauty and wonders,only after you have experienced the sour ,sweet ,bitter andsalty can you really become a person of significance.
The time of young is limited,it may pass by without your attention,and whenyou discover what has happened ,it is always too late.grasping the young wellmeans a better time is waiting for you in the near future,or the situation maybe opposite .
Having a view on these great men in the history of human being,they allmade full use of their youth time ,to do things that are useful to society,tothe whole mankind,and as a consequence ,they are remembered by latergenerations,admired by everyone.so do something in the time of young,althoughyou may not get achievements as these great man did ,though not for the wholeword,just for yourself,for those around!
The young is just like blooming flowers,they are so beautiful whenblooming,they make people feel happy,but with time passing by,after they withers,most people think they are ugly.
And so it is the same with young,we are enthusiastic when we are young,thenwe may lose our passion when getting older and older.
So we must treasure it ,dont let the limited time pass by ,leaving nothingof significance.

So my dear friends, never complain that life is boring and the world isdisappointing. If don’t like the taste of your life, change theingredients.Three year ago, I weighed more than 100 hundred kilograms whichcaused
significant embarrassment and frustration in my life. Like always failingmy P.E examinations, like always being laughed at by girls, like being terrifiedto speak in public. It was my grandmother’s encouragement that revived from mypassive attitude to become confident in myself. She said “ My dear, if you can’tchange you figure, why not treat it as your own style. So I began to cautiouslyemploy the new way of thinking. By choosing to change my outlook on life, Ideveloped the confidence to make a difference and finally I found a totally newworld.
