          求職信的內(nèi)容就應(yīng)該僅是一封信。大致瀏覽一下內(nèi)容,雖然你希望自己的求職信不是只有一兩句話那么簡(jiǎn)單,但也不要寫(xiě)成多頁(yè)的長(zhǎng)篇大論。

          Dear Mr. Director,

          I am currently working on Master Degree in International Commercial law at Fu Dan University. My supervisor Mr.xxxxxx, a well-know professor of law,

          tells me that SFSC specializes in recommending qualified personnel to muti-national companies and suggests that I contact you for recommendation.

          During the two years of studies at Fu Dan University, I have not only acquired a lot of knowledge of international commercial law, but learned two

          foreign languages as well -English and Japanese. Moreover, I have published two papers in the university journal on problems that may arise after China's

          entry to WTO. And they have been favorably accepted.

          I am enclosing a resume, copies of my published papers, and Professor Liu's letter of recommendation.

          I sincerely hope you wil introduce me to a famous multi-national company, to which I will dedicate myself.

          1.語(yǔ)言表達(dá)要簡(jiǎn)潔明了,避免使用太多的專業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ)和過(guò)分復(fù)雜的句子。一方面用人單位不會(huì)在一份簡(jiǎn)歷上花費(fèi)太多的時(shí)間;另外一個(gè)方面,簡(jiǎn)潔的語(yǔ)言表述也能體現(xiàn)出你珍惜他人的時(shí)間。

          2.在求職信的第一個(gè)段落當(dāng)中應(yīng)該明確地告訴對(duì)方你是在何家媒體看到應(yīng)聘廣告以及所要應(yīng)聘職位的名稱,例如Your advertisement for (職位名稱)a Network Maintenance Engineer in (媒體名稱)the April 10 Student Daily interested me。這樣有助于對(duì)方了解招聘信息的有效傳播途徑。

          3.語(yǔ)言客觀實(shí)際。英文求職信中應(yīng)避免自己的主觀判斷性的語(yǔ)言和評(píng)論性的話語(yǔ),不要過(guò)分渲染自我尤其不要說(shuō)出與事實(shí)不符的能力或特性來(lái)。為了避免過(guò)多的主觀性描述,你可以在自己的簡(jiǎn)歷當(dāng)中用客觀的數(shù)字和引述別人的話語(yǔ)來(lái)描述自己的實(shí)際情況。例如:I have passed CET-6 with a high mark of 96.

          4.重視開(kāi)頭、結(jié)尾。在求職信的結(jié)尾,我們通常要提及關(guān)于希望得到面試的事情。因此,結(jié)尾一樣要引起重視。在表達(dá)自己的這樣的意愿的時(shí)候,切忌軟弱、羞怯的表達(dá)方式,例如:If you think I can fill the position after you have read my letter, I shall be glad to talk with you。

          5.表現(xiàn)個(gè)人特色。求職的信件要具個(gè)人特色、親切且能體現(xiàn)出專業(yè)水平。切不可過(guò)于隨意,也不能拘泥于格式——商業(yè)信函應(yīng)該是一種既正式、又非正式的文體。句子結(jié)構(gòu)和長(zhǎng)度應(yīng)富于變化,使閱信人總保持興趣。內(nèi)容、語(yǔ)氣、用詞的選擇和對(duì)希望的表達(dá)要積極,應(yīng)該充分顯示出你是一個(gè)樂(lè)觀、有責(zé)任心、有創(chuàng)造力和通情達(dá)理的人。

          另外,還有一些內(nèi)容雖然不屬于求職信的一部分,但是也不能忽視,比如紙張的選用,一般采用品質(zhì)優(yōu)良的A4打印紙,正文用打印機(jī)打印出來(lái)。信件的結(jié)尾處簽名必須是自己的手寫(xiě)簽名。
