In addition to my study of english while in the university, i have worked for three years as secretary in the firm of abc trading coltd.

英文求職信時(shí)要注意以下四個(gè)方面:
一、在語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格上要平實(shí)、簡(jiǎn)潔。切忌用夸張、比喻的手法引起誤解,而要給招聘者留下誠(chéng)懇、務(wù)實(shí)的印象。招聘者也沒有時(shí)間閱讀過(guò)長(zhǎng)的信件,所以整篇書信要簡(jiǎn)短,能控制在一頁(yè)16開紙上為最好。
二、在句子結(jié)構(gòu)上要多用長(zhǎng)句。長(zhǎng)句善于表達(dá)復(fù)雜事物,一方面有利于準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)求職者的意圖,容易給招聘者留下思維條理清晰,邏輯性強(qiáng)的印象;另一方面,將大量信息融合到一個(gè)句子中,很容易抓住招聘者的注意力,迫使其一口氣讀完,從而留下深刻印象。
三、從語(yǔ)氣上,求職信應(yīng)寫得誠(chéng)懇而積極,表達(dá)出自己對(duì)該單位的向往之情。切忌傲慢或過(guò)于自謙。
四、從內(nèi)容上看,英文求職信一般要包括七個(gè)步驟:
1. introducing candidate (介紹候選身份)。在這一部分中,求職者要介紹自己的求職意向和個(gè)人情況,包括受教育、專業(yè)、工作履歷等方面的情況。
2. establishing credential (確定任職憑證) 在這部分,求職者要表明自己為什么和憑什么選擇這份工作,即自己的專業(yè)或目前從事的工作類型。
3. offering incentives (鼓勵(lì)接受申請(qǐng))這一步是招聘者能否給應(yīng)聘者面試機(jī)會(huì)的關(guān)鍵。應(yīng)聘者可以從能力、經(jīng)驗(yàn)、個(gè)人專長(zhǎng)、性格優(yōu)勢(shì)等各方面進(jìn)行闡述,鼓勵(lì)招聘者給自己一個(gè)面試的機(jī)會(huì)。
4. enclosing document (提及附加材料)。應(yīng)聘往往會(huì)被要求或自愿隨信附加一些證明文件,比如各種證書和近期照片。最好再附上一個(gè)已寫好的回郵信封。以便盡快得到回音。
5. using pressure tactics(采用施壓策略)這是為了獲得面試機(jī)會(huì)而使用的手段。但這一步對(duì)求職者的要求很高,必須對(duì)自己的實(shí)力有充分的自信,還要了解招聘者的薄弱環(huán)節(jié)在什么地方,才能積極有效的施加壓力。否者這種手段的效果只能適得其反。
