　　教師節由來

　　1985年9月10日，是第一個教師節。教師節是我國僅有的包括護士節、記者節在內的3個行業性節日。自1931年以來，我國在不同歷史時期共有過4種不同日期和性質的教師節。1931年教育界知名教授邰爽秋、程其保等聯絡京、滬教育界人士，擬定每年6月6日為教師節，并發表《教師節宣言》，這是我國最早的教師節。

　　1939年，國民黨政府教育部決定另立孔子誕辰日(8月27日)為教師節，并頒發了《教師節紀念暫行辦法》，但當時未能在全國推行。1951年，中華人民共和國教育部和中華全國總工會共同商定，將教師節與“五一”國際勞動節合并一起作為我國教師節。由于種種原因，教師節實際上并未實行。為了發揚“尊師重教”的優良傳統，提高教師地位，1985年1月21日，確定每年9月10日為中國的教師節。從此以后，老師便有了自己的節日。
