Although there is more free time, it is not at all easier than before in China, and even more busy and fulfilling, in addition to schoolwork, there are many extracurricular activities, sports, music, cooking, volunteering, debating and so on. These helped me learn team spirit, responsibility and perseverance in different groups.

留學的目的或許有很多種，為了移民、為了鍍金、為了名校、為了逃避高考、為了跟風...可是也有很多更純粹的目的，為了實現夢想。
我只是千萬留學生中普普通通的一名，也和大多數人一樣經歷了許多挫折和孤獨，在旁人羨慕的光鮮背后有著很多不為人知的辛酸。我曾獨自忍受著眩暈在飛機上渡過一個又一個漫長的12小時；曾在人潮涌動的倫敦拖著笨重的行李前往陌生的'寄宿家庭；也曾挑燈夜讀為了不辜負自己的理想和父母的期望。
作為一名小小留學生，今年是我留學英國的第二個年頭，或許還有更長的路要走。但一點點的磨礪讓我更快地成長，也有了很多寶貴的人生收獲，不僅結識了來自不同文化背景的朋友，還游歷了一些異國風光，也因此變得更加充實和自信。
當然，國外的教育方式和理念都和國內大相逕庭，來到英國之初會發現自己的思維不及外國同學的開闊和變通。但國內的教育模式確實使得我們中國學生在理科方面有著顯著的優勢。
我高一后來到英國南部一所高中讀書，慢慢找到了自己感興趣的專業，也有了更多的時間和機會學習感興趣的東西。曾經因為學業壓力而放棄的愛好也都重新拾起，還開始學習從未接觸過的樂器。
雖然有了更多的自由時間，卻一點也不比以前在國內輕松，甚至更加忙碌充實，除了課業，還有很多課外活動，運動、音樂、烹飪、志愿者、辯論等等。這些讓我在不同的群體中學會團隊精神、責任心和堅持不懈。

Last, studying abroad often requires students to be fluent in a foreign language; and this gives them a good incentive to apply themselves to a new language.
