1、簽證照片一定要照好。
在簽證官見到你本人之前，從照片得到對你的第一印象，這在一定程度上將影響簽證官對你的初步看法。
2、面試時(shí)一定要注意自己的儀表、氣質(zhì)和態(tài)度。
穿著要得體，學(xué)生應(yīng)在著裝上充分顯示自己的身份。男士要顯得精干，不要打扮得油光水滑;女士盡量淑女一些，不要太前衛(wèi)，化妝不可過于美麗耀眼。美國人欣賞成熟理性的人。在等候的時(shí)候，應(yīng)不卑不亢，安靜等候，顯出你的氣質(zhì)。
3、要面帶微笑，表現(xiàn)信心。
當(dāng)然，信心是建立在你對各種簽證問題的精心準(zhǔn)備基礎(chǔ)上的，但現(xiàn)場表情也非常重要，笑一笑能拉近人與人的距離，會讓人感到放松，會感染簽證官的情緒。
4、說話時(shí)聲音要清晰，語速要慢。
聲音清晰意味著說話有底氣，分量足，顯示出你的自信。語速要慢，對英語口語不太好的人來說，可以讓簽證官聽清楚你要表達(dá)的意思，還能讓自己有時(shí)間來思考簽證官的問題。
5、心態(tài)一定要坦然。
不要受當(dāng)前形勢的影響，無論前邊有幾個(gè)人簽過都與你沒有關(guān)系，你要做到的就是保持正常的心態(tài)去迎接面試。
6、不要有僥幸心理。
有時(shí)候簽證官因?yàn)橹饔^因素，由他面談的申請者通過得多，稱之為“放水”。但一心想著靠簽證官放水是不行的，因?yàn)榉潘拇翱诤蜁r(shí)間是你永遠(yuǎn)無法預(yù)料的。
