英語(yǔ)畢業(yè)論文格式及字體大小要求
語(yǔ)言和內(nèi)容是評(píng)判一篇英語(yǔ)論文質(zhì)量高低的重要依據(jù)；但是，寫作格式規(guī)范與否亦是一個(gè)不可忽略的衡量標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。因此，規(guī)范英語(yǔ)論文的格式,使之與國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)慣例接軌，對(duì)我們從事英語(yǔ)教學(xué)，英語(yǔ)論文寫作，促進(jìn)國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)交流都具有重要意義。
一、基本格式：
論文只能打印在每頁(yè)紙的一面上，不得打印在正反面上。論文紙的大小尺寸為A4紙打印。側(cè)面裝訂。
二、題名頁(yè)：
論文題名頁(yè)上打印格式基本相近，中、英文對(duì)照，中文題目頁(yè)在第一頁(yè)，英文題目頁(yè)在第二頁(yè)。一般由頂部往下三分之一頁(yè)處打印論文題目，論文題目都用大寫字母，下隔八行打印論文調(diào)查者姓名、所屬電大，再下隔八行視實(shí)際情況打上提交日期XX年XX月XX日以及課程名稱：論文項(xiàng)目設(shè)計(jì)。
上述各項(xiàng)內(nèi)容都應(yīng)打印在論文題名頁(yè)的中間部位。
三、摘要及關(guān)鍵詞頁(yè)
摘要及關(guān)鍵詞頁(yè)上打印格式同論文題名頁(yè)，中、英文對(duì)照，中文題目頁(yè)在上，英文題目頁(yè)在下。一般根據(jù)提要的內(nèi)容多少安排打印。中文題目摘要采用宋體一號(hào)，加粗，摘要正文部分采用宋體，小四號(hào)。關(guān)鍵字題目部分采用宋體三號(hào)，加粗，關(guān)鍵字短語(yǔ)部分采用宋體，小四號(hào)。英文題目摘要采用Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為一號(hào)，加粗，摘要正文部分采用Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為小四。
四、致謝頁(yè)
學(xué)員可以自選致謝頁(yè)，一般不要求寫中文。英文大標(biāo)題采用Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為一號(hào)，加粗，正文部分采用Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為小四。
五、目錄頁(yè)
英文大標(biāo)題采用Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為一號(hào)，加粗，小標(biāo)題部分統(tǒng)一采用Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為三號(hào)，加粗。注意在右方注明對(duì)應(yīng)的頁(yè)號(hào)，中間虛線連接。
六、正文頁(yè)
論文的正文需隔行打印，正文采用Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為小四。大標(biāo)題為Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為三號(hào)、加粗字。副標(biāo)題為Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為三號(hào)、加粗。
七、尾注、參考文獻(xiàn)頁(yè)與附錄頁(yè)
尾注、參考文獻(xiàn)頁(yè)與附錄頁(yè)(大標(biāo)題采用Times New Roman字體，字號(hào)為一號(hào)，加粗)正文部分如尾注、參考文獻(xiàn)目錄與附錄可不必隔行打印，字體為Times New Roman小四。

一、問(wèn)題與分析
學(xué)生論文"致謝"寫作時(shí)存在的問(wèn)題主要表現(xiàn)在以下三個(gè)方面。
1.對(duì)象不明。例如:

從對(duì)象分析，該"致謝"盡管提到了父母、同學(xué)和老師，但排名先后順序不當(dāng)，而對(duì)導(dǎo)師(supervisor)的指導(dǎo)卻只字不提。
看來(lái)，學(xué)生還不清楚"致謝"的主要對(duì)象應(yīng)該是誰(shuí)。
2.文體混亂。例如:

從文體上分析，此"致謝"混用了正式文體和非正式文體。
如laborious， gratitude屬正式文體語(yǔ)言，短語(yǔ)a lot和縮合詞i’d屬非正式文體語(yǔ)言。另外在此用dear teacher來(lái)表示"導(dǎo)師"也不當(dāng)或欠妥�？梢�(jiàn)學(xué)生尚未掌握"致謝"寫作的文體。
3.內(nèi)容牽強(qiáng)。例如:

從內(nèi)容來(lái)看，本"致謝"除第一句外，其他句子都與撰寫論文無(wú)關(guān)，這表明學(xué)生不知道"致謝"內(nèi)容實(shí)質(zhì)是什么。
二、解決對(duì)策
在對(duì)以上所存在問(wèn)題的分析過(guò)程中，筆者對(duì)論文"致謝"的寫作也進(jìn)行了一些研究�！队⒄Z(yǔ)科研論文寫作概要》一書中這樣指出:"in western academic circles， there are strict con瞯entions aboutwhat should be put in such an acknowledgement，and theway in which it should be written."[1]由此可見(jiàn)，"致謝"寫作是有一定規(guī)定的，因循慣例是關(guān)鍵，也是解決"致謝"寫作問(wèn)題的對(duì)策。具體對(duì)策有以下三點(diǎn):
1. 明確"致謝"的對(duì)象
《英語(yǔ)科研論文寫作概要》一書中還指出:"generallyspeaking， thanks are rendered only to those who have helped thewriter academically…."[2]。具體說(shuō)來(lái)，"致謝的對(duì)象是在研究過(guò)程以及在論文的寫作過(guò)程中、對(duì)作者的研究和成文起了一定的指導(dǎo)、幫助、支持和鼓勵(lì)作用的人員。"[3]由此看來(lái)，英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)士學(xué)位論文"致謝"的對(duì)象應(yīng)主要是對(duì)論文進(jìn)行指導(dǎo)的導(dǎo)師，同時(shí)包括對(duì)論文提出過(guò)建議或意見(jiàn)的教師、同學(xué)和朋友，以及對(duì)論文寫作提供具體幫助的機(jī)構(gòu)和關(guān)心論文的作者家人等。
2. 采用"致謝"寫作的文體

此句中用了單個(gè)動(dòng)詞"completed"，意思比較明確，在此則不可采用短語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞"carried out"。因?yàn)槎陶Z(yǔ)動(dòng)詞為非正式語(yǔ)言，"短語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞往往不止一種含義，而且常常難以確定，寫專業(yè)論文時(shí)往往要用意義比較明確的單個(gè)動(dòng)詞來(lái)代替……"[5]carry out就有"實(shí)施(計(jì)劃)"、"舉行(義務(wù)、約定)"、等含義。

此"致謝"中的三個(gè)句子相互平行，結(jié)構(gòu)相似，均采用的是"iwould like to do sth. to sb. fordoing sth."這一句子結(jié)構(gòu)。
帶有平行結(jié)構(gòu)的句子常用于正式文體[7]，以表強(qiáng)調(diào)。
3.掌握"致謝"內(nèi)容的實(shí)質(zhì)
盡管英語(yǔ)畢業(yè)論文"致謝"的篇幅不大，但其內(nèi)容安排要求對(duì)其排列有序、段落層次分明、理由實(shí)在具體篇例如:i am most grateful to my supervisor professor xxx withoutwhosemosthelpful instructions andwarm encouragement this the瞫iswould nothave been finished.

此"致謝"的對(duì)象包括導(dǎo)師、同學(xué)和家人，其感謝的順序是先導(dǎo)師、再同學(xué)、后家人，符合"致謝"寫作的對(duì)象排序。

The title of my paper is A Study of the Causes of the Gothic Style
in A Rose for Emily from a Feminist Perspective. I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons. Firstly, I am fond of literature works , especially gothic literature works. Secondly, I am quite familiar with this short story as this is one of the texts in our intensive teaching courseand I have taught this text for more than 3 times . Last but not the least ,as a female , I am keen on the study of feminism. For the above facts, I select the subject ofA Study of the Causes of the Gothic Style in A Rose for Emily from a Feminist Perspective as the title of my paper.
I hope by studying this short story we can know more about American southern women in certain history and culture and more importantly help women in modern society get a deeper understanding about ourselves ,help us raise our independence and confidence and show more concern for our mental health.
Next , I will present it to you. Here is an outline of my presentation. They are literature review, gothic tradition , the gothic style in the story and the causes of the gothic style .
This paper consists of six parts.
Part one presents an introduction to the author William Faulkner and A Rose for Emily by pointing out the purpose and significance of this study.
Part two is literature review which introduces the relevant research about this novel at home and abroad and then points out the theoretical basis and methods.
Part three gives a timeline of the gothic tradition in literature and explains the main characteristics of gothic works.
Part four explains the three aspects of the gothic style in the novel，that is, the death theme, grotesque characters and mystic atmosphere.
Part five then explains in detail the causes of the gothic style in this novel: patriarchal oppression, the myth of southern ladyhood and Emily’s attitude towards love.
Finally, in the conclusion, the author summarizes the previous parts and emphasizes the significance of the argument of the thesis again.
