留學(xué)美國(guó)學(xué)生畢業(yè)典禮上希望家人能參加,這就需要辦理面簽,而面簽時(shí)需要攜帶學(xué)校邀請(qǐng)函才能辦理。美國(guó)大學(xué)畢業(yè)典禮莊嚴(yán)隆重,給很多畢業(yè)生留下畢業(yè)美好的印象。越來(lái)越多的美國(guó)留學(xué)生家長(zhǎng)也希望能像美國(guó)家長(zhǎng)那樣,能夠參加孩子的畢業(yè)典禮。
美國(guó)駐華使館13日發(fā)布“簽證貼心提示”,提醒那些想在5月去美國(guó)參加子女畢業(yè)典禮的父母和家人,要盡量提前預(yù)約面談。
面談時(shí),申請(qǐng)人除帶護(hù)照、申請(qǐng)表格確認(rèn)頁(yè)、申請(qǐng)費(fèi)收據(jù)及其他在中國(guó)有約束力的材料證明外,使館簽證官建議攜帶一份子女在美國(guó)就讀學(xué)校的“畢業(yè)典禮邀請(qǐng)信”。據(jù)悉,美國(guó)學(xué)校通常都會(huì)為學(xué)生出具一份邀請(qǐng)家人參加畢業(yè)典禮的信函。
預(yù)約面談前,家長(zhǎng)要先繳簽證費(fèi)。去年底開(kāi)始,為提高簽證效率,美國(guó)駐華使館調(diào)整了簽證程序。新預(yù)約簽證程序要求申請(qǐng)人在預(yù)約簽證面談時(shí)向話(huà)務(wù)中心客服代表提供簽證費(fèi)收據(jù)號(hào)碼。當(dāng)打電話(huà)預(yù)約面談時(shí),申請(qǐng)人會(huì)被問(wèn)及相關(guān)識(shí)別信息,如:姓名、護(hù)照號(hào)碼、簽證費(fèi)收據(jù)號(hào)碼等。預(yù)約中心將按申請(qǐng)人所選擇的美國(guó)使領(lǐng)館為其安排面談的日期及時(shí)間。面談時(shí),簽證官會(huì)將申請(qǐng)人的'預(yù)約信息和中信銀行簽證費(fèi)收據(jù)上的姓名進(jìn)行核對(duì)。只有信息相符的申請(qǐng)人才能進(jìn)行面談。
美國(guó)駐華大使館簽證處處長(zhǎng)表示,簽證處一直注重以多種方式提供有關(guān)美國(guó)簽證的信息。申請(qǐng)人可以隨時(shí)瀏覽使館網(wǎng)站,也可發(fā)送傳真、電子郵件進(jìn)行咨詢(xún),并可以通過(guò)博客、微博渠道與簽證官交流。

1. An official invitation letter to my commencement ceremony from the
International Scholar and Student Services of University of XXX;
2. Automatic payroll deposit to XXX Bank by XXX payroll in the past 12
months and representative pay stubs in 2007 and 2008;
3. Bank statement and online transaction history of XXX Bank, over
US$ XXX in cash;
4. Photocopies of my passport, latest I-94, latest student visa, and I-20
form;
5. Photocopies of my social security card, medical insurance card, and
driver’s license;
6. My Curriculum Vitae.
